Memorial Trips & Scattering Ashes at Sea

There are several different ways to arrange a meaningful send-off for your loved ones.

If the coastal beaches of Mount’s Bay or seafaring played an important part in their lives, then scattering their ashes at sea would be a fitting way to celebrate their life and say your goodbyes – the sea plays an important role in providing a befitting farewell to someone you love.

The waters of Mount’s Bay create an idyllic setting for the scattering of ashes at sea. With the serene majesty of St Michael’s Mount watching over the bay, it’s the perfect place to say your private goodbyes from the decks of Cormorant.

We can take up to 12 family and friends to pay their respects and lay their loved ones to rest at sea.

Please contact us to discuss your personal requirements.

We work very closely with Eternal Touch by Jo Jo who can create a bespoke piece of jewellery with the sea coordinates of your ashes ceremony.

‘I just want to pass our thanks following the memorial boat trip to Lamorna Cove that you did for us last Sunday. We all felt it was a fitting tribute to my sister and her husband, and they would have been happy to know that their ashes will rest in the sea at such an iconic and beautiful location.

Thank you for accommodating the various time changes, for which we were very grateful. And thank you for handling the whole matter with such care and respect.

It was an honour for us to be skippered by yourself, Neil. We’re aware of your seafaring credentials and the bravery both you and your father have shown over the years, helping those in need.’
