Take a trip down the coast, passing Lamorna Cove, Tater-du Lighthouse and Logan’s Rock until you reach the stunning sight of Porthcurno Beach and The Minack Theatre.

The Minack Theatre is Cornwall’s world famous open-air theatre, carved into the granite cliff and set in glorious gardens overlooking the spectacular panorama of Porthcurno Bay.

The Minack Theatre was a labour of love for the astonishing woman who built it – Rowena Cade – carved out of the granite using little more than her own bare hands, and the sub-tropical gardens have become an established favourite, especially for gardeners with a taste for the exotic. The succulent plants thrive on the open cliffside providing an added dash of colour to the Minack all year round. Get a unique view of this stunning landmark few visitors ever get to see from the comfort and safety of the Cormorant.

*Please note that all passengers need to have a reasonable level of fitness with the ability to climb up and down granite steps in order to board the Cormorant. The precise trip itinerary/route is entirely at the discretion of the skipper and for your safety & comfort may vary from our listing due to tides, sea state and weather conditions. If it looks like the conditions are unsuitable your trip may be cancelled – if so you will receive notification via email, text or phone and a full refund given.

A great trip in a beautiful location. Neil was friendly and engaging. It was great to meet someone clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the local area; a real character!

Booked a cruise via email before we visited Cornwall. Neil made this process really easy. The cruise was great, Neil is full of knowledge of the area and made the cruise fun and interesting. Definitely value for money (even though the dolphins were shy). Would highly recommend. from UK, September 2020
