A chance to explore the breathtaking scenery and magnificent coastline around the village of Mousehole onboard the Cormorant.
If we go north you will pass the old Penlee lifeboat station on the way up to Newlyn, and round to Penzance with views of St Michael’s Mount across the bay, or if we turn south you will cruise down to the beautiful Lamorna Cove with distant views of the majestic Tater-du Lighthouse.
Trips could encounter basking sharks, dolphins, grey seals, and seabirds in the rich and diverse waters that surround Mousehole. It’s especially exciting for our younger passengers to get a close up view of St Clement’s Island – a rocky outcrop which lays just off Mousehole where grey seals can often be seen basking in the sunshine.

Mousehole Harbour
Fantastic boat trip!
We really enjoyed our one hour trip out of Mousehole. Neal the skipper was so informative and passionate about the local coastline.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
A perfect trip on a perfect Spring morning!
The Cormorant skipper/owner, Neil Brockman gave the most informative and entertaining commentary on the trip from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove. As former Coxswain of the Penlee lifeboat, and holder of the RNLI Bronze Medal for gallantry, Neil knows everything there is to know about the history, geography, and wild life of the area, and is clearly passionate about Mousehole, fishing, lifeboats, and communicating his enthusiasm. Praising the performance of his young ‘crew of pirates’ he ended the cruise by rewarding them with some of his edible pirate spoils and a resounding Cornish Aaaaaaaarh
The highlight of our holiday!
What a brilliant trip out with Captain Neil! He was very informative and entertaining and shortly into our one hour trip was tipped off that dolphins were nearby so took us to see them. It was fantastic and we were very, very lucky as they swam by the boat several times! On the way back Neil took us to see a seal too which was fab. Neil was excellent with the children too, letting them choose one item of pirate treasure from his treasure chest. This was the best boat trip we’ve been on and we’ve done a few!
We booked an hour trip for our family of four. The conditions were excellent and it was calm and sunny on our trip. Got views of Mousehole ive obviously never seen before. Never realised there were lots of caves on the shoreline. Neil (the ex RNLI skipper) proposed we go and see the dolphins – sounds good to me! We saw lots of Dolphins and even a whale! Good and interesting commentary. Relaxed atmosphere. Spot on!
Three generations loved this cruise.
Our party of six, spread across three generations, loved this one hour costal cruise.
Neil was an entertaining host, whose pride of being Mousehole born and bred shone through. His stories about his own maritime experiences and the history of the area were both funny and poignant.
Online booking was very straightforward and the e-reminder two days prior was appreciated.
Recommended.
